As the only multi-technology industry association focused on expanding markets for electric vehicle (EV) and EV charging products and services, as well as the reform of the energy system as a whole, Advanced Energy United advocates for state and federal policies, legislation, and regulations to accelerate EV adoption and deployment of charging infrastructure necessary to adopt a mass market for EVs. Advanced Energy United’s efforts focus on policies that reduce the upfront cost of vehicles, accelerate charging infrastructure deployment, modernize utility regulations to integrate EVs, and address the specific needs for fleet use of EVs, including medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. Advanced Energy United’s Electrifying Transportation Group engages Advocate- and Leader-level members on priorities, strategies, and execution of transportation electrification advocacy.
