Edson Perez leads Advanced Energy United’s legislative and political engagement in California. Edson identifies, analyzes, and organizes strategic advocacy and relationship-building opportunities to accelerate the energy transition to an advanced energy economy. Prior to joining Advanced Energy United, Edson served as a Principal Consultant to the California Senate President pro Tempore. There, Edson managed the operations of the Senate floor sessions and led successful negotiations in the natural resources, health, elections, redistricting, and immigration policy areas. Edson has also taken leadership roles in various state and local political campaigns.
