ACHIEVING ENERGY AMBITIONS
Massachusetts has some of the nation’s strongest climate and clean energy laws on the books, including its new climate bill passed in 2022, which together have made the Bay State a regional and national leader for policies related to distributed energy resources like solar and energy storage, as well as transportation electrification. This progress has been made possible due to coordinated efforts by policymakers, advocates and leaders from within the clean energy sector. Now, Advanced Energy United is working with those same leaders to ensure Massachusetts continues moving forward and passes the necessary policies to achieve its ambitious clean energy goals, especially around transmission and interconnection to support offshore wind development in New England.
