Advanced Energy United seeks to scale advanced energy by driving technology adoption and market transformation through state policy and regulation. We support, defend, and initiate pro-advanced energy legislation and executive branch policies in states that present valuable market opportunities. This work includes reform of utility regulatory and business models as needed to support the use of advanced energy technologies and services by utilities, third-party providers, and customers. Our regional advocacy is carried out by four Working Groups – Central, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and West – through which Advocate- and Leader-level members engage with Advanced Energy United staff on priorities, strategy, and execution.
