Federal Priorities

Advanced Energy United’s Federal Priorities team serves as the focal point for our engagement with lawmakers on Capitol Hill and policymakers in the Administration. The past three-plus years have seen the passage of landmark federal policies to accelerate America's transition to 100% clean energy and fully electrified transportation. Working in coordination with Advanced Energy United's state and regional teams, this group will continue to build bipartisan support for the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (IIJA) in D.C., defend against efforts to repeal or undermine these policies, and advocate for measures to augment these gains. Participants in Advanced Energy United's Federal Priorities work will have the opportunity to set strategy for our industry in D.C., participate in our engagement with policymakers on the Hill, and engage in United's ongoing IRA and IIJA implementation work. Access is available to all Advocate and Leader-level members.
