Utility Dive: Colorado Legislature Sends ‘Advanced Transmission Technology’ Bill to Governor

Utility Dive reports that Colorado lawmakers have passed House Bill 1081 on a bipartisan vote. The bill requires regulated utilities to consider using “advanced transmission technologies” that could improve the efficiency of the existing grid. The bill now moves to the Governor’s desk for signature into law.
