Michigan Public: Michigan’s Energy Regulator to Hold Workshops on Affordability

Michigan Public reports on the Michigan Public Service Commission’s upcoming workshop to discuss ways to improve energy affordability. United’s Samarth Medakkar noted that the state should focus on distribution system upgrades by incorporating more virtual power plants, which would create additional energy capacity without the massive investments needed to build new, large-scale power plants.
