KUNR Public Radio reports that as electric vehicle (EV) adoption has grown in Nevada, charging infrastructure—particularly in rural parts of the state—hasn’t expanded at the same pace. United’s Lizzy Stears stated that many drivers underestimate how capable modern EVs have become, adding that lower fuel and maintenance costs often make EVs the more affordable option over the vehicle’s life-cycle.
