“John Reynolds is exceptionally well-positioned to lead the CPUC, particularly given his critical understanding of the role that load flexibility and distributed energy resources play in strengthening the grid and lowering costs.

We also congratulate Christine Harada on her appointment to the Commission. She brings experience and perspective from across government, energy, and technology that will help modernize our energy system for 21st-century challenges.

We thank Alice Reynolds for her dedicated service and leadership at the CPUC and look forward to her service at the CAISO, ensuring that we’re building the clean energy necessary to power the California economy by clearing the interconnection queue and accelerating the buildout of new transmission.

With strong leadership at the CPUC and CAISO, the state is well-positioned to lead in meeting our energy challenges, improving grid planning, and leveraging the full range of cost-effective clean energy solutions that benefit all Californians.”
