
This week, Advanced Energy United welcomed Jessica Hogle, Vice President of Federal Affairs and New Markets at NRG Energy, to our Board of Directors.

Jessica Hogle leads NRG’s federal government affairs strategy and regulatory engagement across key growth markets. With extensive experience at the intersection of energy policy, regulation, sustainability, and grid modernization, she is recognized for building effective partnerships between industry, policymakers, and stakeholders.
Prior to NRG, Jessica served as Head of Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs at GridCARE, where she drove regulatory and public policy strategies to unlock latent grid capacity, enabling faster access to power for emerging technologies, including AI, supporting beneficial load growth for utilities, and advancing affordability for customers.
She previously served as Vice President and Chief of Federal Affairs for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), leading federal strategy and engagement with Congress and the Administration. Earlier, she spent more than a decade at Pacific Gas & Electric Company, serving as Vice President of Federal Affairs and Chief Sustainability Officer, where she integrated sustainability into business strategy and oversaw major advocacy and investment initiatives.
Jessica lives in Arlington, VA, with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from The University of the South.
