Valessa Souter-Kline

Valessa Souter-Kline supports Advanced Energy United’s work across the Northeast. Valessa brings more than a decade of experience engaging policymakers, utilities, and industry stakeholders on energy and environmental issues, including grassroots advocacy and coalition-building related to ratemaking, interconnection, and grid planning. Prior to joining United, she served as Northeast Regional Director for the Solar Energy Industries Association, where she led regulatory and legislative initiatives in New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. In addition, she spent over three years developing utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects, with a focus on site acquisition, permitting, and community engagement.
