Mike Haugh

Mike Haugh leads Advanced Energy United’s work at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), focusing on wholesale markets and transmission. Mike has over 25 years of experience working in the energy industry representing a wide variety of groups. He has worked in 14 different states providing expert testimony before legislatures and utility commissions. His work has included both traditional regulation and deregulated markets always with a focus on bringing benefits to consumers. Prior to joining Advanced Energy United, Mike was the Analytical Director with the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel. Previously he ran his own consulting business and was a Senior Fellow with the R Street Institute.
