Shawn Kelly

Shawn Kelly leads Advanced Energy United’s state regulatory strategy and engagement at public utility commissions (PUCs) across the U.S. with a focus on advocating for policies that deploy advanced energy solutions to make our grid more reliable and affordable. He was previously a Senior Director of Regulatory policy covering the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Prior to joining United, Shawn served as SunPower’s Manager of Research & Analysis, responsible for quantitative support for clean energy policies. He has almost 25 years of experience in utility regulation, including working for utility commissions and utilities and consulting on behalf of public advocates and regulators.
