Bevan Flansburg leads Advanced Energy United’s regulatory engagement in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Bevan works to promote and enable advanced energy technologies that modernize the grid, increase affordability, and ensure reliability. Prior to joining United, Bevan oversaw Abt Global’s energy transition practice, leading growth strategy and supporting projects across energy governance, electrification, and market reform. Before that, Bevan spent 16 years with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) working to improve regulatory governance using best practices from across the U.S. and practitioner-to-practitioner problem solving.
