Jim Purekal oversees Advanced Energy United's governor and state legislator outreach, in addition to working on state-level siting and permitting solutions for large-scale energy projects. Prior to joining United, Jim managed the policy portfolio for SunPower Corporation's southeast region. He earned his policy experience during the latter portion of his 20-year career with the U.S. Marine Corps, where he prepared congressional testimony and advocated on issues impacting military aviation operations.
