Sophie Watterson

Sophie Watterson is Policy Associate at Advanced Energy United focused on education and engagement with public utility commissions (PUCs). Sophie supports the team’s efforts to increase understanding of advanced energy technologies through National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) engagement, commissioner, and PUC staff forums. Sophie also provides docket insights and other input to the Insight Engine™ platform. Prior to joining Advanced Energy United, Sophie worked as a research analyst at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and as an environmental advocate in Missouri.
