Shamay Phillips supports Advanced Energy United’s regulatory engagement in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. As part of her role, Shamay drafts comments in rulemaking proceedings, sharing United’s positions with stakeholders and tracking the implementation of state regulations. Prior to joining United, Shamay served as the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Government Affairs Specialist, where she advanced legislative recommendations and climate change mitigation while managing stakeholder relationships. She also worked at Planned Parenthood as a Public Affairs Manager, leading advocacy and policy campaigns.
