Michael Weiss works on Advanced Energy United’s policy team throughout the United States with a focus on public service commissions. His projects include advocating, educating, and partnering with government agencies, elected officials, and other stakeholders to expand the use of advanced energy and transportation technologies. Before joining Advanced Energy United, Michael was a senior attorney with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, working on various matters, including clean energy projects, power plants, transmission lines, and air pollution mitigation initiatives. He also held positions with Miami-Dade County and the Florida Senate.
