Emilie Olson manages Advanced Energy United's legislative engagement in California and Colorado. Emilie identifies, analyzes, and organizes strategic advocacy and relationship-building opportunities at state capitols and Public Utilities Commissions to accelerate the transition to an advanced energy economy. Emilie also works to coordinate planning and execution of priority initiatives in the Western region. Prior to joining Advanced Energy United, Emilie worked with Indigo Development & Change in rural South Africa to deepen programs in biodiversity monitoring, climate change adaptation, and women's empowerment through eco-entrepreneurship. She also contributed to the Orfalea Center for Global & International Studies' Global Climate Change, Human Security & Democracy Project.
