Conor McKenzie

Conor McKenzie furthers Advanced Energy United’s work to remove barriers and expand opportunities for advanced energy technologies to participate in wholesale energy markets, focusing on the Midcontinent ISO and Southwest Power Pool. Conor engages and partners with policymakers, businesses, and other advocates to advance clean energy policies at the wholesale level with a focus on resource adequacy, interconnection, transmission, and distributed energy resources. Prior to joining Advanced Energy United, Conor supported similar efforts with the Great Plains Institute, including advancing transmission siting reform and supporting state engagement in wholesale markets in partnership with the Midwestern Governors Association.
