Brett Sproul leads Advanced Energy United’s regulatory work in Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana. His work focuses on advancing renewable energy policies and interacting directly with State Utility Commissions’ respective dockets. Prior to joining United, Brett served as both a Commission Advisor and a Regulatory Economist for the Maryland Public Service Commission, focusing on Utility Rate Case proceedings, community solar program development, Net Energy Metering policy, and Renewable Portfolio Standards. Brett has also interned at the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization and worked in agricultural research labs at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the University of Maryland.
