Alex Lawton focuses on Advanced Energy United’s work to increase wholesale electricity market access for advanced energy technologies, including related transmission expansion and interconnection reform. Alex has ten years of combined academic and professional experience in the clean energy field across three degrees and over ten energy-oriented organizations in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. Prior to United, he served consumer advocates and other public interest-oriented clients by conducting regulatory and policy analysis via testimony, reports, and comments.
