Pennsylvania Capital-Star: Study Warns of Electricity Shortages Unless Supply Keeps Pace With Data Center Growth

A new report from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission examines whether PJM Interconnection will have sufficient electricity resources to meet growing energy demand quickly, reliably, and affordably. In an article for the Pennsylvania Capital-Star, United’s Jon Gordon stated that PJM is lagging behind all other U.S. grid operators in bringing online low-cost advanced energy resources that could be operational before 2030.
